COVID-19: Advice and support

Parking charges at all council owned car parks, both on-street and off-street, will be temporarily suspended in a move to help NHS staff and other key workers and residents, particularly those who are vulnerable. Government advice is still in place to minimise travel to just essential journeys so residents should only use our car parks when absolutely necessary.

This applies to on-street and off-street council owned car parks only.

Parking Wardens are still working around the borough to ensure that dangerous parking affecting road safety or blocking the highway is still enforced, an essential service. This is to maintain road safety on the highways network and to maintain access for essential travel.
