Pay and display car parks

How to pay

Pay and display machines do not accept cash. We are only able to accept card payments, phone payments or payments through the JustPark app. Full details on how to pay for your parking and location ID can be found on the parking machine. 

Be aware of fake parking apps and QR codes

Our current provider JustPark does not use QR codes on our parking machines. If you see a QR code on a pay and display machine or nearby, do not scan the link or share your personal information. These fake codes are not part of the official signs and are normally stuck on separately.

Report a faulty pay and display machine

The charging hours for car parks are 8am to 6:30pm and apply 7 days a week.

This tariff applies to all of the pay and display car parks listed on this page from 5 June 2025.

Up to 1 hour - £1.20
Up to 2 hours - £2.40
Up to 3 hours - £3.60
Up to 4 hours - £4.80
More than 4 hours or all day - £6
Coaches £6 all day at Europa Pools

Birkenhead

The improvement works for the Europa Boulevard and Conway Street scheme in Birkenhead Town Centre will affect the following car parks:

• Europa Square car park - temporary closure from May 2025 to reduce numbers of spaces to improve connectivity between the train and bus stations.
• The Grange/Conway Street multi-storey car park - temporary closure from Tuesday 26 August 2025 to allow improvement works at the car park entrance. It's anticipated works will take around six weeks.

Please use alternative parking facilities in the area including the multi-storey car park by ASDA and the Pyramids.
