Putting your bin out for collection
To help ensure your bin is collected safely and on time, please follow these guidelines:
- put your bin out at the kerbside by 7am on your collection day, with the wheels facing the road
- all rubbish must be inside the bin with the lid fully closed. We cannot collect any extra bags or loose waste left beside the bin
- do not overfill your bin - if it's too heavy, it may not be emptied
- after your collection bring your bin back onto your property as soon as possible
- only put the correct items in your bin
If you live in a flat or apartment
If you live in a flat or apartment, contact your landlord or property management company for details about your bin collections.
If your waste is collected in sacks
You will remain on a weekly general rubbish and recycling collection service.
