Wirral's Local Plan 2020 to 2035: Register for the consultation

Two user guides on how to register on the consultation website and how to submit comments have been produced:

How to comment on potential allocation sites

If you are only interested in making comments on potential allocation sites, you can view and make comments on sites in one of two ways:

1) Via the Local Plan Issues and Options interactive Proposals Map

View the Interactive Issues and Options Proposals Map

You may find it easier to find a potential allocation site in your neighbourhood and seeing all other proposals on the interactive proposals map of the Borough on the Council’s Local Plan webpages. To help you find a particular site or to view the area around where you live, you can type your address, postcode or an individual site reference number into the search bar above the map and navigate directly to sites.

Clicking on an individual site will bring up the details associated with it and, for housing and employment sites, will display a link which takes you straight to the individual site on this consultation portal for you to make comments. If you haven’t registered or logged into the consultation portal you will prompted to do so before being able to make a comment.

When you first register, you will need to activate your account via an email that will be sent to the email you registered with. If you have not received one to your inbox, please check your junk folder.

2) Via Wirral's online consultation portal Potential Allocations consultation

Visit the Council's online consultation portal and you can either select types of potential allocation from the  table in the initial page you arrive at or you can click the 'View Sites' button and select a site from the tables at the top of each section in the document. Clicking on each site in that table will take you straight to all the details associated with it and allow you to add comments.

You will need to register if you would like to submit comments on the portal or through our interactive proposals map.

How to comment on Evidence Base studies

You can comment on any of the evidence studies, including the Interim Sustainability Appraisal and Interim Habitats Regulations Assessment, used to inform the preparation of the Issues and Options document via the online portal.
