Online help and support

Information, advice and support at your fingertips

All Wirral’s libraries offer free access to computers to help you contact, request and manage services online. There is also free Wi-Fi if you wish to access services with your own mobile device.

IT volunteers are available at some libraries to offer assistance and computing advice. We advise that you call to check volunteer availability before your visit. You can also access Learn my Way – a self-led series of learning modules to help you use the internet – from any public computer.

MyWirral Account

Your MyWirral Account is a quick and easy way to manage and contact council services at any time. This is different to your library account. Registering for a MyWirral account takes just a couple of minutes. All you need to get started is an email address. For help with this ask a volunteer or follow the ‘Creating an Email’ module in Learn my Way.

You can securely access and manage a range of services via MyWirral Account including:

  • subscribing for a Brown Bin garden waste collection
  • reporting a change of address or circumstances
  • setting up a direct debit
  • making online payments
