Digital Support

As more services move online it is becoming increasingly important that everyone is equipped with the skills to successfully navigate the digital world. Wirral Libraries can help in several ways – whether you are a complete beginner or just need a little guidance.

IT Volunteers

I.T. volunteers are available throughout the week in many of our libraries on a drop-in basis.

See here for current timetable

Volunteers support our staff, offering I.T. assistance to our borrowers. We advise that you contact your library to check a volunteer is available beforehand – as staff are not always free to help.

Interested in becoming a volunteer? Head here for full details and to fill in the application form. We will get in touch for an informal chat and a tour of the facilities.

Tea and Tech

Drop into one of our free Tea and Tech sessions for support over a cuppa. These are advertised via our social media.

Digital Skills

Wirral Lifelong Learning offers Essential Digital Skills courses for adults aged 19 and older at some of our libraries and other venues. View current courses and enrolment details.

Prefer to help yourself? There are several free online courses and guides which allow you to pick and choose the topics that are relevant to you and work at your own pace.
