If you want to make your home more energy efficient, there's financial help available. Below are some of the ways you can get support.

Heating and Renovation financial assistance

Wirral Council offers financial assistance to low-income homeowners in need of emergency repair work for heating other necessary renovations. Find out how to apply.

Warm Homes: Local Grant

The Warm Homes Local Grant can provide energy efficiency measures worth up to £15,000 in eligible properties. Potential eligible measures include internal wall insulation, external wall insulation, window glazing, solar panels, heat pumps, a high retention storage heater, and/or a smart meter. Multiple measures may be eligible in a home below the cost cap.

To qualify for the Warm Homes Local Grant, the household must have an Energy Performance Certificate of D, E, F, or G and be in an eligible area, receive a means-tested benefit, or have a gross annual household income below £36,000. The household must also be privately owned.
