What happens after you apply?

  • We give priority to requests for food or fuel. We aim to get back to them within 2 working days.
  • We aim to get back to other welfare requests within 5 working days
  • We may ask for more information or documents
  • If you apply yourself (not through an agency), we may refer you to Citizens Advice Wirral for further help

Do not apply again while waiting for a decision. This may delay your application. We will tell you the outcome by text message. Citizens Advice Wirral may share information with us about the outcome of any referral.
