Parking near Mallory
There are limited parking spaces outside Mallory, 2 Alice Ker Square.
The council's website has an up to date map of car parks around the borough. The closest car park to Mallory, 2 Alice Ker Square is The Grange multi storey car park. There are 495 spaces in The Grange and costs £2 per day to park. The car park can be accessed from Conway Street. Drivers must continue past the Pyramids Shopping Centre following Borough Road/A552, take the first exit at the roundabout onto Conway Street. The entrance to the Grange car park is then located on the left hand side.
Council colleagues working from Mallory and the immediate surrounding area can take advantage of the range of car parking in nearby pay and display car parks or on-street parking in Birkenhead, subject to the conditions and charges of that car park or on street area. You can use your mobile to pay for parking by using the JustPark app.
Blue badge holders will continue to be able to park for free in any council car park and applicable on-street parking. This includes parking in one of the 14 disabled bays within the Europa Square car park, which is next to Mallory.
There is a dedicated parking pass policy for staff whose jobs require them to leave and return to Mallory numerous times throughout the day.
Travelling by train
The nearest train station to Mallory is Conway Park station (around a five-minute walk) which serves stations to New Brighton, West Kirby and Liverpool.
Birkenhead Central Station is approximately nine minutes’ walk away and serves Chester, Ellesmere Port and Liverpool.
Trains run regularly and with 68 stations spread across the Merseyside area it's easy to access the network by bus, bike or car.

For those unable to walk, cycle or scoot to the station, there are free car parking facilities at more than 40 stations across the network. There is also pay and display car parking available at Hooton, Chester and Southport stations.

Travelling by bus
The bus station is within 120m of the entrance of Mallory, 2 Alice Ker Square and it takes just a few minutes to walk from Birkenhead Bus Station to the office.
