Before you apply for a secondary school place

Applications for children to start secondary school in September 2026 are open. Children must have been born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015.

The deadline for submitting on-time applications is 31st October 2025. Applications received after this date will be treated as late. 

There is a different process if your child has already started secondary school.
