Wirral Libraries host a wide range of free community courses. 

Wirral Lifelong Learning

Wirral Lifelong Learning is a program from Wirral Council that offers courses for adults aged 19 and older to improve their skills, qualifications, and prospects.

Courses run in our libraries and other venues throughout the year. If you are unemployed, in receipt of benefits or earn less than a stated annual gross salary, these courses are completely free.

English, Maths, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Family Learning and Essential Digital Skills courses are free for everyone.

Wirral Met College Community Education Courses

Wirral Met College and its partners, in conjunction with Wirral Libraries, hosts a range of part-time courses in the brand new Learning Hub at Birkenhead Central Library. 

A variety of adult skills-based courses are offered. Courses are free subject to Terms and Conditions of the provider.
