Shared Reading for Kids

Wirral Libraries collaboration with The Reader to inspire a lifelong love of reading among children and young people. These are free sessions, pre-bookable via Eventbrite.

Sessions are currently in the following libraries:

• Greasby Library - Fridays (term time), 10am to 10:45am

Relaxed sessions for 3 to 5 year olds their grown-ups to explore the magic of books! Enjoy stories, rhymes, sing-a-longs and lots of fun with refreshments.

• Bebington Central Library - Thursdays (term time), 4pm to 4:45pm

Relaxed sessions for 7 to 9 year olds to read stories and poems together, then chat about what they’ve made us think and how they’ve made us feel. Nothing to read at home and no pressure to read aloud unless you want to. It’s a space for you to just ‘be’.
