Proposed changes to library services
Wirral Council is proposing changes to its library services across the borough. We want to know what you think about the proposals.
Monthly reading groups
Take away a pre-chosen book to read and come back in a months’ time to informally discuss it over a cuppa.
Reading Groups promote learning and regular and thoughtful reading, helping you retain information and reinforce ideas to discuss in a safe environment. They are social spaces too where you can find companionship and a common ground with others.
Email: libraries@wirral.gov.uk to enquire about joining a Reading Group in the following libraries:
- 1st Tuesday of the month 10:30am to 12pm
- 4th Thursday of the month 2:15pm to 3:30pm
- 2nd Tuesday of the month 2pm to 3:30pm
- 2nd Tuesday of the month 2pm to 3:30pm
- 4th Wednesday of the month 10:30am to 12pm
- 2nd Wednesday of the month 10:30am to 11:30am
Online Reading Group
Join us to chat about the books you have read and recommend.
- 3rd Thursday of the month 6:30pm to 7:30pm
