Proposed changes to library services
Wirral Council is proposing changes to its library services across the borough. We want to know what you think about the proposals.
Researching your family tree? Want to find out how old your house is? Or who lived there before you?
You can find dedicated one-to-one help here:
1st Thursday of the month 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Birkenhead Reference Library shares the same opening hours as the main library and staff are always on hand to help throughout the week.
Every Friday 10am to 12:30pm.
Wallasey Reference Library is manned by volunteers who are able to help out with simple enquiries throughout the week (please phone to check times and availability).
Wallasey Central Library 2nd Thursday of the month 7pm to 9pm - September to April.
A full and interesting programme of talks is arranged during the winter months, and in the summer there are two or more field trips.
