Weed Spraying

The council’s weed spraying contractor ManCoed treats roadsides, paths, general surfaces, council-owned car parks and some shopping centres and adopted and unadopted alleyways three times a year.

The contractor does not treat weeds on private land. You should contact the landowner directly with any problems, including private land next to roads or pavements.

Spraying is dependent on good weather conditions and cannot take place in rain, high winds or other inclement weather.

It takes two weeks for weeds to start dying off after they are sprayed.
