Delays to bin collections
Due to a fire at Bidston Tip there may be delays to some green and brown bin collections today. If your bin is not collected today, please leave it out and we will empty it tomorrow.
Assisted bin collection
If you cannot put your bins out because of ill health or disability, you can apply for an assisted bin collection. We will only do an assisted collection if there is no one else who could put your bins out for you.
If your application is accepted, we will arrange for the bin collectors to take your bin out and return it after it has been emptied.
Could you manage with a smaller bin?
If you could manage to put out a smaller bin yourself, you can swap your bin for a smaller one. The standard bin is 240 litres. The smaller bins are 140 litres (the same height, but narrower).
