Wirral Council is encouraging parents of children in nappies to go ‘nappy happy’ during Real Nappy Week, which runs from 21st to 27th April. Real nappies are reusable cotton nappies that are just as easy to use as disposable nappies, can save the environment and can save parents up to £500 on the cost of keeping a baby in nappies.
Wirral currently sends approximately 500 tonnes of disposable nappies to landfill each year. By switching to real nappies, this waste can be completely avoided. full story...
