What will I learn?
Develop positive, growth mindsets to cope with challenges with greater confidence and resilience. The course will help you and your child to understand, recognise and develop ways to manage feelings. It combines theory and practical activities including colouring, creating positive self -talk bubbles, completing a feelings wall chart and a massage routine.
How will I do this?
This course consists of 6 x 1-hour delivery group work sessions over Zoom for you and your children. This is aimed at children aged 7-13yrs. The course is a mixture of theory, written work and practical activities.
There is also 6 hours of home learning, two 30-minute blocks a week, encouraging you and your child to try out ideas at home and log progress in your workbook reflection diary.
