1. Who can enter the prize draw?
1.1 The prize draw is open to any person aged 8 to 25. The family passes include two adults and two young people.
1.2 To enter the prize draw, entrants must complete the online questionnaire by 5:00pm on 20 September 2019 and provide their name and email address.
1.3 By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Conditions of Entry
2.1 There is a limit of one entry per person.
2.2 You must provide accurate and genuine information, including full name and email address.
2.3 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Wirral Borough Council may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
2.4 Wirral Borough Council accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered, for any technical or other reason.
2.5 To enter the competition, you must complete the questionnaire. At the end of the questionnaire is a section to enter the competition through entering your name and email address. This is optional at the end.
3.1 There are nine prizes available. The prizes consistent of three leisure family passes (two adults, two young people); three junior monthly leisure passes and three junior weekly leisure passes.
3.2 All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no alternative. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
3.3 Wirral Council reserves the right to withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice.
3.4 Prize draws will take place on two different occasions throughout the course of the consultation.
4.1. There are three prize draws which will take place at 12:00 noon on the following dates:
- 26 August 2019
- 23 September 2019
Entries received after 5:00pm on 20 September 2019 will not be considered.
4.2 Each entry will be allocated a chronological number when they have completed the questionnaire, for example the first person to complete the questionnaire will be number one. One random number will be selected using a computer-generated random number selector. The person with this number is the winner of the prize.
4.3 The prize winner will be notified within seven days after the draw date. The prize winner will be notified via the contact details provided on submission of the online quiz.
4.4 If a winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified or rejects their prize, then that winner will be considered to have forfeited the prize. The Council will be entitled to select an alternate number by computer generated random number picker and contact the first alternative winner and award the prize to that person. In the event that a winner is ineligible or disqualified, the council shall be entitled to do the same.
4.5 The prize winner will receive their prize via post, at a Wirral address provided by the prize winner after confirmation.
4.6 The name of the prize winners may be published in the local press, and council communications with the prize winner’s agreement.
4.7 The outcome of the draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into concerning the outcome of the draw.
4.8 Wirral Borough Council does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take delivery of the prize.
5.1 No correspondence will be entered into regarding the interpretation of these terms and conditions.
5.2 No purchase is necessary for entry in the prize draw.
5.3 Wirral Borough Council reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the competition and these terms and conditions, if the competition cannot take place as intended for reasons beyond its reasonable control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Wirral Council.
5.4 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Wirral Borough Council may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
5.5 Wirral Borough Council is not responsible for technical errors or other occurrences which prevent the competition from running as stated.
5.7 Wirral Borough Council is not responsible for any incorrect contact details provided on the prize subscription.
5.8 Wirral Borough Council accepts no responsibility for a prize winner who is unable to take up their prize as a result of incorrect contact details being provided.
5.9 Wirral Borough Council will only process your personal information as set out in the Principal Privacy Notice
5.10 These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
5.11 Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
