Wirral Council is committed to reducing the number of collisions on our roads.
One of the methods used to control vehicle speeds is traffic calming initiatives. These can include:
- road humps
- road markings
- chicanes
- changed road layouts
- mini-roundabouts
- 20mph zones
- traffic priorities to slow traffic down
