The Byelaws (Alternative Procedure) (England) Regulations 2016

Notice is given that a revocation byelaw, made on 19 March 2026 by Wirral Borough Council has the effect of revoking byelaws with regards to promenades within the County Borough of Wallasey made by the Council of the County Borough of Wallasey on 4 April 1935 and confirmed by the Secretary of State on 22 May 1935 as amended by the byelaws made by the Council of the County Borough of Wallasey on 2 May 1940 and confirmed by the Secretary of State on 25 June 1940 and as further amended by a byelaw made by the Council of the County Borough of Wallasey on 18 April 1956 and confirmed by the Secretary of State on 13 June 1957 and further amended by a supplemental byelaw made on 8 October 1959 and confirmed by the Secretary of State on 1 January 1960 and further amended by a supplemental byelaw made on 19 March 2001 and confirmed by the Secretary of State on 3 May 2001.
The revocation byelaw takes effect on 18 April 2026.
A copy of the revocation byelaw has been placed and may be inspected free of charge at Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey Wirral CH44 8ED during normal office hours. Members of the public are requested to contact 0151 606 2000 in advance to arrange an appointment for inspection. Copies of the revocation byelaw may be obtained free of charge.
