Government procurement card payments

Government procurement cards are used by the council for low value, ad-hoc purchases which cannot be procured from our contracted suppliers. The use of government procurement cards is restricted to a small number of staff where there is a clear business need.

As with all spending, the council strives to source the most cost effective, suitable suppliers for its needs.

In line with the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) Transparency Code, all items purchased using a government procurement card will be published on this website and on the national data repository at data.gov.uk.

The reports are freely available for use under the Open Government Licence and are published in PDF format. The PDF files and older csv files may not be suitable to view for people with disabilities, users of assistive technology or mobile phone devices.
