Information and ICT Security Policy
The Council's Information/ICT Security Policy outlines the security measures the Council undertakes to protect the information it stores, handles and processes.
The Policy, which is approved by Cabinet, is regularly reviewed and updated and applies to all who have access to Wirral Council information or information systems.
Access to Wirral Council systems is not allowed until the account holder has signed to state they have read and understand the Policy and associated codes of practice.
All staff have a responsibility to make themselves familiar with the policy document.
