Green Flags are an international award that recognise the good quality parks and green spaces with each of the sites recognised for having good environmental standards, being well maintained and providing clean and safe visitor facilities.
In Wirral, we are lucky to have a large number of parks and green open spaces to enjoy and interact with nature and many of these have been awarded with a Green Flag.
Across the borough, we have 31 Green Flags to recognise the dedication of parks and countryside staff, as well as Friends Groups and members of the public who volunteer their time and effort, to make improvements to these important areas.
