How to Vote

If you are already registered at your current address, a poll card will be delivered to you from the 11 November 2019.  If you have only recently registered, your poll card will be delivered in early December.

If you have recently moved or need to add yourself to the electoral register, the deadline to register to vote in this election is Tuesday 26 November 2019.

Postal or Proxy Voting

Instead of attending your polling station on election day, you can apply for a postal or proxy vote.

New postal applications must be received at the Elections office by no later than 5pm on Tuesday 26 November 2019 to be effective for this election.

Postal votes will be sent out around 28 November so if you are going away around this date then it might be more sensible to apply for a proxy vote (which is when someone you trust attends your polling station and votes on your behalf).

Postal votes being sent to an address overseas will be sent on 20 November.

New proxy applications must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 4 December 2019 to be effective for this election.  If your proxy wants to vote by post, then the deadline is no later than 5pm on Tuesday 26 November 2019.

Candidate Information
