Community-minded residents from Wirral West parliamentary constituency are being invited to apply for a place on the Wirral West Constituency Committee.
Community Representatives must live in the communities within the Constituency (i.e. Greasby, Frankby and Irby, Hoylake and Meols, Pensby and Thingwall, Upton and Woodchurch, West Kirby and Thurstaston) and/or be an active member of a community group or organisation (or similar) in one of these areas. Applicants need to be aged 18 or over.
Community representatives provide valuable expertise and experience to help inform the discussion at Constituency Committee meetings and work with local councillors and the constituency team to actively engage with residents and communities and feedback local views into decision-making.
Applications welcome from community members representing the following wards:
- Greasby, Frankby and Irby
- Pensby and Thingwall
Shortlisted applications will be invited to attend an informal interview. Those who are successful and co-opted by the Committee will be expected to attend four evening Constituency Committee meetings (held in public at venues across the constituency area) per year.
Existing community representatives are welcome to reapply.
