Crematorium fees
These are the prices relating to a cremation held within Landican Crematorium. Please check the tariff to find out whether early off-peak, peak or late afternoon charges apply.
All our prices for cremation services include:
- administration
- registration
- environmental surcharge (set by Crematoria Abatement of Mercury Emissions Organisation)
- medical referee fees
- an ashes container (and the storage of ashes for up to one month)
- non-witnessed scattering of the ashes within the designated memorial gardens of Landican Crematorium or a disposal certificate
You may choose to upgrade the package to include additional products and services.

An additional 20 or 40 minutes within the chapels can be arranged in advance. This service is subject to the current service provision levels.

Cremation of Children (stillborn - under 18 years)
| The Government introduced the Children’s Funeral Fund in 2019, this fund allows Wirral Council to claim our fees for the cremation. | No charge |

Cremation of a coffin larger than 7 feet in length or 29 inches width
(external coffin size). This charge is additional to the standard cremation fee above.
