If you have received funding under the Accelerator Grant for Argyle Street Area Creative Quarter, you may not be eligible to apply for this grant.
Argyle Quarter Commercial Property Improvement Capital Grant Scheme is focused on two key strands in the ‘Argyle Quarter’ area of Birkenhead:
- small scale grants for shop front improvements
- bringing empty retail properties back into use
It aims to promote and support local independent retailers.
The grants will be disbursed to business or landlords through priortising via this application process. Business and landlords will contract the works and provide defrayal evidence to the Council on completion.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.
