The Wirral mortuary service is provided by Arrowe Park Hospital on behalf of Wirral Council.
The facility:
- provides somewhere where bodies can be taken and stored for the coroner
- provides a place for the viewing of bodies
- gives information and advice
- helps forensic pathologists with autopsies
