To allow adequate social distancing between people who do not live together or share a support bubble, families and Funeral Directors are asked to limit the number of mourners attending funerals, to no more than 30 mourners. This is in line with government guidelines. Linked religious, belief-based or commemorative events, such as stone settings and ash scatterings can also continue with up to 6 people in attendance
We very much hope that mourning families and friends will understand the need for this change. Families are asked speak to their appointed funeral director for more information.
