The Data Protection Act 2018 applies to all organisations and gives everyone the right of access to information held about them (known as personal data).
It puts a legal requirement on organisations to ensure that all personal data held, in whatever format is properly managed and not disclosed to third parties inappropriately.
Wirral Council collects, uses, stores and destroys Personal Data; we must therefore comply with the Data Protection Act 2018.
