The local authority's Building Control service must be informed in writing 6 weeks prior to the intended demolition. This notice of intent should specify the building to which it relates and a description of the proposed demolition work.

Apply for a demolition notice

To print the demolition form you can use the above link and you can print the document. Complete it and return to the address on the form together with the required £110 fee. This fee will increase to £150 from 1 April 2017.

Ways to pay

Within seven days ensure that payment is made for the relevant fee charge by one of the following methods:

  • by telephone using credit or debit card on 0151 691 8454
  • in person using a credit or debit card or cheque at the address below, between the  hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
  • by post to South Annexe, Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey CH44 8ED
