Olympic medalists line up badminton masterclass

They carried the hopes of the nation into the final of the 2004 Olympic badminton competition, narrowly missing out on the gold medal.  

Now Gail Emms and Nathan Robertson are bringing their skills and expertise to Wirral to help the next generation of badminton hopefuls from the area. 

Wirral Tennis and Sports Centre in Bidston is the venue for a badminton masterclass being conducted by the Athens silver medalists on Sunday September 5^th, 9.30am-11.30am. 

Training sessions will cover the four main attributes for becoming a top badminton player; mental, physical, tactical and technical. 

A place on the class is £35 for adults and £25 for juniors and can be reserved on a first come, first served basis by calling Peter Jones on 07795 108025.
