Cycle forum

Millennium cycle routeThe Wirral Cycle Forum meets on a quarterly basis and has an important role in developing initiatives to effectively promote cycling in Wirral and in the continued development of cycling policies.

The Forum allows cyclists to meet regularly with Council Officers, Councillors and other interested parties and provides the ideal platform to exchange views and ideas.

The group’s vision, set out in its Terms of Reference, is to advocate and promote safe cycle use across the Borough, making cycling more attractive and accessible to residents, visitors, employees and businesses within Wirral.

The group is also consulted on new cycling facilities and new policies. Your views are sought on the current cycling schemes for consultation.

All cyclists of all abilities welcome!

The Forum exchange views on what can be done to promote cycling; these views can help to identify problems and solutions for the cyclist. If you are interested in joining the Forum, new members are always welcome and the agreed dates for 2012 are below.

Meetings are held at 5:30pm at Cheshire Lines Building.
