Network Management Plan

Under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the Department for Transport have requested all local traffic authorities to demonstrate how we comply with the Network Management Duty

Wirral’s Network Management Plan has been developed through close engagement with our key partners including Merseyside Police, Merseytravel, Emergency Services and Wirral Colas.

This plan will enable Wirral Council to ensure it is actively working to make the most efficient use of its existing road network to support economic and community development across the borough.
