Residents parking

The Council operates a number of residents' parking schemes. These schemes allow residents with a permit preference to park in their street. A residents' parking scheme does not guarantee that space for parking will be available outside or even close to any particular residential address, this is dependant upon the available kerbside parking space and the volume of demand on that space by residents and their visitors. Permits for existing schemes are free of charge and are available only to those who live in the street.

Residents parking passes are not transferrable and can not be used in Council Car Parks.

There is also a Visitors Parking Scheme and residents can obtain a Visitor Permit free (1 per household), however there is a charge of £40.00 for replacement if lost.

Tranmere Rovers Residents Association manages and operates it’s own visitor permit scheme. These are renewed each year.
