Payment of penalty charge notices

Penalty Charge Notices, issued for parking contraventions within Wirral, can be paid using the following methods:

1. On-line, 24/7, using the payment portal on the Council’s web site (Credit Card or Debit Card).

2. By telephone, 24/7, using the automated telephone payment system on 0151 606 2345 (Credit Card or Debit Card) Please have your card, vehicle registration number and penalty charge notice details to hand.

3. By telephone, during working hours, by contacting the call centre on 0151 606 2004 (Credit Card or Debit Card).

4. In person, during working hours, at any One Stop Shop, you can pay by Cash, Cheque, Credit Card or Debit Card. However only the Conway Centre One Stop Shop can take cash.

5. By post, send a cheque or postal order, made payable to Wirral Council to: Director of Finance, Finance Dept, PO Box 2, Birkenhead, CH41 6BH. Clearly write the Penalty Charge number and vehicle registration number on the reverse of the cheque.

In all cases, please check the Penalty Charge Notice or any subsequent letters we may have sent you for the exact amount that you need to pay.
