I'm Worried About Someone

Vulnerable adults come from all walks of life. They may be elderly or frail; they may have a physical or mental health problem or they may have a learning disability.

However, they have one thing in common: they may be at risk of abuse.

If you’re worried about someone, tell us. You can make a difference.

The next few pages of this website gives you some information about Wirral's approaching to protecting, or 'safeguarding', vulnerable adults.

Protecting adults at risk: A guide for Wirral residents

If you need more information about Safeguarding then please contact our Central Advice and Duty Team on 0151 606 2006.

However, If you believe the situation is very serious and you or a vulnerable adult is at immediate risk of harm you should report the matter to the Police by dialling 999.
