Getting Support from Us

Personalisation

Personalisation is a new way of offering social care which is being rolled out nationally. Personalisation is about transforming care and support services so that the people who use our services have more choice and control over the services they use.

Personal Budgets

A personal budget gives you more choice and control over the support you need. Personal budgets are a key aspect of the Personalisation agenda, which is an initiative designed to give you greater control over which services you choose to meet your needs.

Applying for Support

You are the best person to decide what works for you, so you will be in charge of making all the major decisions about your care. But if you need help at any stage we are here to support you.

We give free information and advice to everyone who contacts us for help, even if you don't qualify for social care support.

Am I Eligible for Support?

The eligibility criteria are the guidelines we use to decide whether you qualify for our support. They make sure that we treat everyone fairly and use our money in the most effective way.

We can only offer support to people with ‘critical' or ‘substantial' needs.
