Friends of Wirral Archives Service

The Friends Group and the User Group of Wirral Archives Service have been merged, and the number of meetings to be held each year has been reduced. The next meetings are:

• Thursday 12th April 2012
• Thursday 12th July 2012
• Thursday 11th October 2012

Each meeting will be held between 2.00 - 4.00 p.m. in the Conference Room, adjacent to Wirral Archives, on the Lower Ground Floor of the Cheshire Lines Building in Canning Street.

Would you like to be a Friend of Wirral Archives Service?

Our Friends Group provides opportunities to meet other local and family historians from Wirral; to attend workshops, talks and events; and to become one of our volunteers working with documents from our holdings on various interesting projects. Our Friends Group will also be a forum for our users to let us know what they want from Wirral Archives Service, and provide an opportunity for them to help us to achieve it!
