About the Passport Scheme:

A Wirral Passport entitles residents and non-residents to a range of discounts on sport and leisure activities and facilities.   

Category A: £5.00

Category B: £7.50

Category A offers a 50% discount on pay as you go activities and is available to residents in receipt of any of the following benefits:

• Income Support/Income Related Employment & Support Allowance
• Income Based/Contribution Based Job Seekers Allowance
• Council Tax Benefit
• Housing Benefit.
• Incapacity Benefit/Contributory Employment & Support Allowance
• Working Tax Credit
• Child Tax Credit
• Full Time Students (over 18).
• Work-based Learning for Young People.
• Dependent partner/ child of those in any of the above groups.
• Residents age 60+

Category B is available to residents and non-resdients and offers a 10% discount on various pay as you go activities.

Allowance for a carer:

If you require a carer and do not wish to purchase a Wirral Passport, or are under 18 years of age, you can register at any of our Leisure Centres free of charge with proof of Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Attendance Allowance or if the person applying has a carer who is in receipt of or has underlying entitlement to Invalid Care Allowance (ICA).

To apply:

You can download an Application Form from this page.  Take it along to your local lesiure centre or Library with the required proof of eligibility, residency and fee. Two passport photographs are required if applying at a Library.
