Parks Development and Maintenance

There are over 1,500 hectares of public open space and parks in Wirral, including country parks, coastal parks, lakes, play areas and gardens.

The Parks and Countryside Development section are responsible for forward planning and park management plans, as well as the grounds maintenance required to keep them looking well managed and clean.

Throughout Wirral Parks staff and partner stakeholders, work hard to improve the safety, health, well-being and the general enjoyment of Wirral’s parks and Countryside areas so that those who use Wirral’s parks and open spaces find it a pleasant and pleasurable experience.
