Coastal Rangers

Wirral Ranger Service has a team of rangers with responsibility for the coastal area. Their main responsibility is the management of the North Wirral Coastal Park, Hilbre Islands Local Nature Reserve and West Kirby beach and dunes.

They are also involved in a more strategic role on all of Wirral's Coast from the Mersey to the Dee, particularly on conservation and recreation issues.
