Boat Launching and Foreshore Permits

The authority has a permit system in place for the Launch and Recovery of powered craft, some slipways are restricted for emergency use only.

Permits are available through the approved agents of the council at a nominal cost.

Foreshore Permits

You need a foreshore permit to take a vehicle onto the foreshore or to launch a boat around Wirral's coast.

These can be obtained from Safewater Training Sea School.
