Important changes to online library services

In order to provide additional security all registered users of our online library services will need to enter their PIN to log in to online library services in future. Passwords will no longer be required in order to log in to the website.

If you don’t know your PIN there are three ways you can find out what it is:

• Log in with your password and you can find your PIN on the ‘My Account’ page.
• Click on the Problem logging in? link to the top-right of this page and we will send you an e-mail with a PIN reminder.
• If you don’t have an e-mail address you can contact any Wirral library.

The change will provide additional security to library accounts. We are also preparing for the introduction of a new e-books system later in the year which will require the use of a PIN.
