Facilities

Computer Suite
Woodchurch has a small computer suite with Internet access. This is free of charge for the first half-hour per day, after which there is a small charge per half hour session.

Photocopying and Fax
A photocopying service is available and faxes can be sent and received from the library.

Items for Sale
We have a wide selection of cards, posters, for sale.

Saveaways
We sell adult and child, local, cross-river and all zone saveaways.

Toy Library
There is a small book and toy Library for under 3’s. A small charge applies and library membership is not essential.

Activities

Coffee Mornings
A number of themed coffee mornings are held through-out the year and are always well supported.

Get into Reading - Adult Reading Groups
There are two adult ‘get into reading groups, which meet on a Monday:
- book at Breakfast at 9.30am - 11am
- afternoon group at 2.30pm - 3.30pm

Events & Visitors
We have a number of family fun days, author visits and outings throughout the year. Occasional Beetle Drives and Bingo afternoons.

It’s Good to Talk
This discussion / friends group meets on Thursday’s at 2.30pm.

Quiz
There is an informal and fun quiz for over 60’s on the first Thursday of each month at 2.30pm. New members are always welcome!

Story and Rhyme Time
A ‘Hummingbirds’ story and sing-a-long session takes place every Tuesday from 10.30am - 11.30am. All parents/carers with their under 5’s are very welcome.

Little Chicks
This session offers songs and rhymes for babies under 12 months old and is very hands on.
Takes place on a Thursday morning at 11.15am - 11:45am.

Reading Rockets
This Children’s Reading Group meets on Tuesday’s at 3.45pm - 4.30pm.

Access Information

Woodchurch Library is situated within the grounds of Ganney’s Meadow Early Years Centre on the Woodchurch Estate.

There is level access to the library and a wide door.

Disabled parking is available near the main entrance.
