Moreton library houses a Council One Stop Shop, which is open

ICT Facilities

  • Computer terminals with internet access available for the public to use.  An IT volunteer is available to assist on Mondays and Tuesdays 10:00am-1:00pm and Wednesdays and Thursdays 2:30pm – 5:00pm. Access is free of charge for the first half hour.
  • ICT courses run each term, subject to enough people enrolling. - please ask library staff for details
  • Photocopying fax, printing and scanning facilities are available.
  • Free WiFi available


Citizens Advice Bureau.
CAB advisors are available in the training and advice suite on most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.00am - 12.00pm. This is a drop-in service, so there is no need to book.  Limited availability from 9am – please come early

Reading Well Books on Prescription
Reading Well materials include books, leaflets and CDs. They provide information on medical conditions, treatments, mental health, alternative therapies, relaxation, healthy living and lots more. Information about local support groups and services is also available.

Toilet facilities are available, including an adapted one for people with disabilities.

Saveaways offering reduced price, flexible access, to local public transport are on sale in the library.



Baby Bounce & Rhyme
An interactive way for parents and carers to introduce their babies and toddlers to the library. Experience the fun of sharing nursery rhymes and singing action songs. Ideally suited for babies and toddlers from 0 – 4 years old.
Fridays at 9.30am. Free.

Usually meet on the last Thursday of the month. 11am – 12noon.

Monthly 3.30 - 4.30pm, enquire at Library.

MP Surgery

The local Member of Parliament, Angela Eagle MP, holds a surgery on a Saturday once a month (excluding August). Please contact the library for details of the next surgery.

  • Limited parking available on the Municipal Offices car park
  • The building is accessible, with a level approach and automatic doors
  • All parts of the library are accessible by wheelchair
