Talking Books
CDs are available for a small charge. This service is free to people who are registered as visually impaired.

Information Technology Suite

  • 15 computers terminals provide offer a range of IT packages and access to the internet.. Computer Courses are run throughout the year.

Children’s Story and Rhyme Time 
For children aged 0-4 years. Monday and Friday at 2.00pm (Mondays only during the School Summer Holidays).

Adult Reading Group
Although the group is currently over-subscribed, people interested in taking part can go on a waiting list. Please contact the library for details.

Thursdays at 4.30pm - 5.30pm

Get into Reading - Adult Reading Group
Book at Breakfast, Tuesdays, 10am-11.30am

“Purls of Wisdom” Knitting Group
Meet for a knit and a natter every fortnight on a Thursday morning. Funds are raised for the The Liverpool Women’s Hospital.

Coffee Mornings
Themed coffee mornings take place throughout the year and offer an informal and social setting to get to know the library and other users better.

Small exhibitions from local groups are held occasionally throughout the year.

Access Information

  • Ramped access to front and rear of the building, with handrails and automatic doors to civic hall.
  • Level access into the library.
  • An adapted toilet can be accessed using a radar key.
  • On street parking is available, although there are no specific blue badge bays.
