Homework
If you need some help with your homework, don't forget that any of the libraries across Wirral are more than happy to lend a hand with getting your work done.
There are lots of online resources for you to use, including Encyclopaedia Britannica, KnowUK, Oxford Reference material and much more!
Here's how one Wirral library helps two local boys with their homework:
Brothers Christopher and Daniel from Upton are regular users of their local library and enjoy its summer book club, regular art competitions and IT facilities.
Like lots of children, the boys used to find it difficult to get their homework done after school - games consoles, friends calling round and the television always proved to be big distractions.
During a visit to the library their Mum noticed some information about an after-school homework club and asked the boys if they would try it out. Although not completely convinced, they agreed to give it a go and in no time at all the homework club had become part of their usual routine.
Now everyone’s delighted with the homework club as there’s always someone on hand to help find any information needed. It also makes sure that homework is done and out of the way…leaving plenty of time to get on with other things.
Joining the library is easy and you can do it online right now!
