Help with computers in libraries

Wirral Library Service has a unique partnership with Pentra Services, the local Intermediate Labour Market Company, to ensure quality ICT support is available to people using Library computers.  

Trained staff are on hand to provide ’one-to-one’ support and to help users build up their competence and confidence in ICT. 

All staff are trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and receive continual training to enhance skills and keep up with ICT developments. 

This partnership has reciprocal benefits as staff who are on short term contracts are given experience and qualifications to help them secure employment with local employers.
